A Wellness Center membership is complimentary for University Places residents. As Houston’s most complete medical/ fitness health facility, the 80,000-square-foot Wellness Center, located adjacent to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, offers a variety of programs promoting fitness and wellbeing for University Place senior residents. The Wellness Center opened in November 1999 to provide a holistic approach to health that addresses every aspect of your wellbeing, not just the physical component. They believe that a balance of mind, body and spirit must be achieved if you are to have lifelong health and wellness. Their programs integrate the physical, psychological, social and spiritual components of wellness to help people of all ages and fitness levels live active, healthy lifestyles.
